Party

As my birthday is fast approaching, i have realised i'd better do something about it. Here's the plan:

What: Cocktail Party


Where: My place (*****)
When: Saturday 4th December, 7pm -ish


What: I will supply snacks, mixers, glasses and little umbrellas. Guests are asked to please bring one spirit from a list which i will supply as soon as i have my act together.
Foo: for those who are interested in getting a present (no pressure, really), Jo is starting a 'Get Chelle Inked' fund. Talk to her.

Blogspot

well, schpat has started a blog on blogspot, which reminded me that i did have an account there. I had to open it to have an identity in order to leave a comment on adam fisher's blog. Not that he seems to reply to comments, but i try :)

So maybe i'll blog there a bit too. It's the fairly obvious moonflake.blogspot.com.

Star Wars 3 tonight! yay! Thanks to jason for organizing..it is going to be the bomb.

Also, i have next week off. Can't wait.

Okay, someone else on the planet must have read this book by Diana Wynne Jones. And if you did, you will understand how cool it is that Miyazaki has made an anime based on this book! With Christian Bale as the voice of Hauru (Howl) in the english language version!!!

Yeh, it's been coming for a while. Won't be on circuit though, so I'll probably order the DVD. There's currently an "Art of HMC" book available through Outers, as well as a Manga graphic novelisation.

Other than that, not too much. Oh, i watched Audition finally. Weird. Those crazy Nipponese.

Holy Workload, Batman! I haven't updated in over a month!

Well, work is crazy, the clients are idiots, and i'm really busy, so no big surprises as to why i haven't updated in ages. Working saturdays for the next 2 weeks, and worked all weekend 2 weeks ago. Joy. However, it does mean random time off to compensate. yay!

In other news, my character got chomped by a winterwolf lastnight (and by an arrow from one of her own party members) and is now also dead. That's 2 characters down in 3 weeks. Eish.

The good news is my new character is fun fun fun. I have the +1 Sword of My Grandfather and its Honourable Brother (Munchkin? Where?). Yes, indeed, i have taken 2 weapon fighting, 2 weapon defense, weapon focus shortsword and i have my grandfather's twin +1 shortwords. Plus backstab! I'm rolling so many d6 it's like whitewolf only ...well...with d6.

Um, movies lately = saw (awesome), dodgeball (laugh out loud funny), robots (cute), meet the fockers (funnier than meet the parents).

I also made chilli jam. Mmmmm. It is good.

Um....oh yes, my stupid sister's 21st birthday on the 2nd. I dressed as an angel and alex dressed as a devil...it was cute. Then my other sister's birthday on the 9th. Then Synk's birthday on the 11th and alex's mom's birthday on the 13th. I am all birthdayed out.
