Updated Information:

Val will start registration at around 10:30 on Saturday. There are enough starter decks for two tables, so the players will be divided between them. Each table will have a 'mentor' who will help and guide you through the game. They will start you off with some demo decks - which are small decks made just for the purpose of showing you the mechanics of the game. You'll play with everything revealed then, so you can see how the game works. You don't get to keep those demo decks (as that is all that they are, so they will be reused year-after-year in training new players).

After that, you will be given a random starter deck - these are decks that are ready to play, and I can safely say that they are all reasonably powerful decks, Vampire is great that way. Usually I recommend a starting player to get 2 of the same preconstructed deck to get off the ground, because you can make very powerful decks that way (decks that are on par with the decks that regularly win tournaments). These starter decks you get to keep.

Using those starter decks, you'll play a tournament round and the winner of each table will get a booster prize (of the same expansion as the starters). Each player will also get a small bundle of promotional cards (cards that are not found in boosters or starters) as well.

Random Card Games

There will be random card games such as Munchkin, Infernal Contraption and Zombie Fluxx being played all the time!! Come try them out!
