Army Lists
You need a 1500pt Army (Standard FOC Min 1 HQ and 2 Troop). Also you need a 500pt Combat patrol (4th Ed Rulebook) list.
Here’s the kicker. The 500pt army MUST come from your 1500pt army. By this I mean whole units not just elements of a unit (i.e. a unit of 2 Space Marine Land speeders is in your 1500pt list. For the 500pt you can choose to put both in or none. You can’t just have one of them feature).
Each day there will be 2 x 500pt and 2 x 1500pt Games. Giving a total of 8 games over the 2 days.
Missions are as follows:
500pt Mission
- Take and Hold (4th Ed Rulebook)
- Recon (4th Ed Rulebook)
- Seize Ground (5th Ed Rulebook)
- Annihilation (5th Ed Rulebook)
For the 4th Ed Missions the Alpha Level will be used but with Infiltrate and Dusk and Dawn (from the 4th Ed Rulebook)
Scoring works as follows:
- Win = 3pts
- Draw = 1pt
- Loss = 0 pts
Bonus points awarded if:
- Opponent wiped out (+1pt)
- Lost by 1 VP (+1pt)
1500pt Mission
(Mission will be rolled for before each game with no repeats)
- Dawn of War (5th Ed Rulebook)
- Seize Ground (5th Ed Rulebook)
- Annihilation (5th Ed Rulebook)
- Capture and Control (5th Ed Rulebook)
- Pitched Battle (5th Ed Rulebook)
- Spearhead (5th Ed Rulebook)
Special Rules
- Escalation Rule: Before each battle it will be mentioned if this rule will be in effect. If Escalation is in effect then both opponents deploy only their 500pt army. The rest of their force is held in reserve. (Chaos Daemon players this applies as well and overrides the normal splitting of forces).
Objectives
- Primary Objectives: As per mission (2pts)
- Secondary Objective: Kill the opponent’s highest point HQ model. If 2 with the same points the opponent must nominate one. (+1pt)
- Tertiary Objective: More than 50 % scoring units survived, rounded up. (+1pt)
These are used to determine if the game is a win draw or loss.
Scoring works as follows:
- Win = 3 pts
- Draw = 1 pt
- Loss = 0 pts
Bonus points awarded if:
- Won by 3 or more VP’s (+1pt)
- Lost by 1 VP (+1pt)
